October 22nd will be bringing the Stolen Lives Walls and an info table to the Power to the Peaceful Festival. We need volunteers to help set things up, staff the table (and sell stuff), talk to people who look at the walls, and help take things down at the end of the day. this is one of our major fundraising opportunities of the whole year- over 50,000 people attend this event every year. email mahtin at riseup.net if you can help!
Today (8/28) I tabled at the Chicano Moratorium. Didn't make a lot of money, but did meet some people. I sold one t-shirt (to Frank, who already knew about us!!) and some buttons, and some people donated for stickers. Not very much- just enough to pay for having a table at the event!
