Police Shoot and Kill Gunmen in New Orleans

It's the worst explosion of gun violence yet in New Orleans.
Police shot eight people carrying guns on a bridge Sunday, killing five or six of them.
It happened as police escorted a group of engineers over a bridge connecting Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi River.
The engineers were there to make repairs to a canal. A Spokesman for the Army Corps of Engineers says the contractors were under fire from gunmen but none were killed.
